I'm not excusing what he did. I'm not excusing how he conducted himself when it first came to light. I'm certainly not excusing his judgement in being involved in something like this in the first place. He was monumentally stupid, and it's going to cost him. Big time.

I wonder what the gang tackling would look like if this had happened thirty years ago pre-ESPN. First time offenders in dogfighting typically walk with no jail time.

Michael Vick's going to jail. He's possibly getting suspended from the NFL beyond his prison sentence. Arthur Blank's sending the message he's never coming back to the Falcons.
